FAITH is a nonprofit organization that provides free and confidential services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse in Northeast Georgia.
FAITH Shelter and Domestic Violence Program
The FAITH, Inc. Shelter for Women and Children provides free and confidential emergency housing for individuals and family members displaced due to family or sexual violence. The shelter is a safe, caring and supportive environment with staff and volunteers dedicated to improve the lives of all those seeking help in rebuilding their lives.
The FAITH, Inc. Rape Crisis and Sexual Assault Prevention Programs provides crisis intervention and prevention strategies for adult and child victims of sexual assault, rape, harassment and incest. The program will consist of victims' services and support and will encourage and provide community education efforts to work toward the ultimate goal of ending sexual violence in our communities.
FAITH Power House for Kids - Child Advocacy Center
We offer a child friendly environment for the child and non-offending care giver to tell his/her story to trained professionals and to receive the services necessary to reduce trauma on the child.
The Thrift Store provides a source of consistent income for the work of FAITH, Inc., clothing and household items for clients and their new homes, vouchers for needy individuals and families referred to FAITH by other service agencies , and to help represent the work of the organization through education to the general public who may not utilize other services, providing an accessible link between FAITH and the community.
